The Glenshellach housing scheme was built by West Highland Housing Association to make a significant contribution towards meeting the need for affordable housing in Oban whilst at the same time providing residents with a reliable and energy efficient form of heating. The Housing Association’s appointed heating contractor withdrew before installation began, leaving the client in an extremely vulnerable situation. Vital Energi was introduced to the Housing Association following a recommendation from the Co-operative Bank plc who have a financial involvement in this scheme.
