Vital Energi have recently been appointed by The University of York to deliver a significant new multi utility scheme as part of the University’s impressive £500million expansion plans.

To maintain their high ranking status, the University of York are expanding their existing campus with additional facilities on a new site at the eastern edge of the City, creating new space for academic buildings, college accommodation, sporting and community facilities.

Vital Energi are set to install a new £3.5 million multi-utility corridor between the new 116-hectare extension and the University’s existing Heslington West campus. The works include services interconnection between the two sites for the delivery of electricity, hot water and communications services as well as gas, water and specialist telecommunications services to serve the Heslington East site.
