Vital Energi would like to thank project engineer Mick Hogan, one of our longest serving and most experienced employees, for all of his contributions to Vital Energi during his time with us and wish him all the best in his retirement.

At the core of Vital Energi’s success are our longest serving staff members like Mick who have had the opportunity to develop within a growing company for the last 20-25 years. Vital Energi’s success in retaining such highly skilled employees lies in its thriving company culture which enables each employee to constantly improve their skills and capabilities through supported personal development.

Mick has been actively involved in the district heating industry for over 40 years, beginning his career as an apprentice Tool Maker before working with Babcock and Wilcox, Stewart & Lloyds Pipe Erection Department, Drake & Skull, FG Skerrits. Mick then ran his own company for 12 years before deciding to move on, joining ABB/Alstom and then Vital Energi, working for Vital Energi’s founding directors for over 25 years.

The depth of knowledge and specialist skill set that Mick brought to Vital Energi helped to establish the company’s excellent reputation for carrying out on-site work to the highest professional standards, overseeing the smooth running of many of Vital Energi’s most prestigious projects. All those who have had the pleasure of working with Mick have benefited from his depth of skill and exceptional experience.
