Vital Energi is Shortlisted for Building Awards 2013

Vital Energi has fought off stiff competition to be shortlisted for Specialist Contractor of the Year at the 2013 Building Awards.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday 18 April at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair, London.

Established by Building magazine, the Building Awards are the industry's most celebrated business networking event in the built environment calendar and recognise the industry's top performers by rewarding innovation throughout the construction sector.

Leading sustainable energy specialist, Vital Energi, has been shortlisted for the Specialist Contractor of the Year Award after demonstrating significant growth in project wins and turnover despite tough trading conditions.

Ian Whitelock, joint managing director of Vital Energi, commented: "We are delighted to be shortlisted for the Building Magazine Specialist Contractor of the Year award."

"Vital Energi experienced unprecedented growth in 2012 and completed several high profile projects including new CHP community energy schemes for the pioneering King's Cross development in London and the 704-home Athlete's Village for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as well as a biomass and CHP energy system for York University's £750m campus expansion."
