After 15 years cultivating his commercial & entrepreneurial skills, he set up his own construction services business. His clients included a major power company where he supervised the commercial side of the district energy business. His belief in developing long-term partnerships with customers and suppliers has been instrumental in Vital Energi’s success.
Ian has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and a strong record of managing growth. He began his career working for a leading international engineering firm before moving into the commercial management of civil engineering projects then making the transition into project management where he developed his commercial awareness and problem solving skills. At Vital Energi Ian oversees all contractual, operational and financial matters to ensure the successful growth of the company.
Two-time winner of the Industrial Engineering CFO of the Year award and with over 25 years’ experience, Cécile has a wealth of global experience gained at board level within several multinational companies. She has implemented many strategic business initiatives to create customer focus both externally and internally whilst delivering financial impact, and plays an integral role in developing our business strategy to support our continued growth.
Nick has over 25 years’ experience providing energy services to the public and private sectors. Previously the UK Regional Director at Dalkia and Energy Services Director at MITIE, Nick’s areas of expertise include project engineering, product and service development, energy procurement and asset management. His combination of operational and business expansion experience makes him ideally suited to the task of leading Vital's plans for transition into financed asset ownership and management.
Steven is an experienced executive with a demonstrable track record of driving growth in private equity backed businesses. With over 25 years’ experience in technology, telecoms and energy sectors, Steven currently sits on the board of a number of private equity backed energy and software businesses.
Gary Le Sueur is a founder and former partner at SEP, where he is now Senior Adviser. Gary specialises in clean energy and sustainability focused investments, and leads SEP’s secondary fund, Environmental Energies Fund. Gary is a director and board observer for a number of SEP’s portfolio companies. He has played a key role in more than 40 investments and exits during his career, as well as being involved in fundraising and investor relations.
Driven by delivering sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions, Tony specialises in winning work and project managing MEP services. With over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, he has led successful bids across the hospital, school and Local Authority sectors and his strong leadership and project management skills ensure projects are aligned with client needs and expectations.
