As one of the first companies to provide green energy systems in The United Kingdom, we are proud to highlight our illustrious history in developing quality solutions that have contributed towards environmental prosperity and customer satisfaction over decades. In doing so we ensure our internal procedures and arrangements place the sustainability agenda at the heart of our operations.
An important element of substantiating our progressive environmental vision is ensuring that a holistic and sustainable procurement process is implemented throughout the organisation to mitigate the wide-ranging potential impacts inherent in purchasing decisions.
Vital Energi is a leading innovator in efficient energy provision and a catalyst for the development of new and sustainable ways of supplying the heat and power the UK needs; forming strategic alliances that operate in partnership for the benefit of local communities, hospitals, universities, government facilities, industrial, commercial, infrastructure and transport.

This reflects the core values of the business to promote openness and transparency and to seek the highest professional standards across its different areas of activities. Vital Energi is committed to ensuring that it and all employees, partners, agents and supply chain or any persons or companies performing services for or on behalf of Vital Energi abide by the highest ethical standards.
Vital Energi is fully committed to compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”) in all its divisions, not only in its own dealings but in those of its supply chain. We have taken several steps to combat slavery and human trafficking and will continue to work to ensure this does not occur in our business or supply chain. This statement has been published in accordance with the Act and sets out the steps we have taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
Recognising that Energy consumption constitutes a significant environmental aspect for the business, we continually develop and implement an Energy Management System to ensure as far as possible that sustainable practice remains at the heart of our operations.
Vital Energi are an employer required by law to carry out Gender Pay Reporting under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017. This was brought into effect following the 2015 general election where the Government announced that it intended to fulfil a manifesto commitment by bringing into force a provision of the Equality Act 2010 on gender pay gap reporting.
At the current time, Vital Energi guarantees to pay the National Minimum Wage (NMW), National Living Wage and Real Living Wage rates to all directly employed members of staff (in line with the minimum age limits appropriate to each National pay structure). Apprentices are not required to receive the Real Living Wage; we do however pay each of them significantly higher than the NMW and ensure pay rises over the course of the apprenticeship are well above inflation.
