Planned maintenance

We can manage and provide all the planned maintenance for your energy scheme including plant rooms, energy centres, district heating networks, and heat interface units. This is provided in line with SFG20 regulations, which can be tailored to individual requirements. We have specialist software to allow us to continuously monitor the operation and efficiencies of your schemes to identify improvements or potential issues which allows for a quick resolution. This is deployed alongside a CMMS package that ensure the maintenance planning is coordinated to minimise interruption

Reactive maintenance

We have highly trained engineers on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to respond to any reactive maintenance requirements with your energy scheme. We work with you to create a tailor-made agreement with specific KPIs to adhere to dependent on the severity of the issue, with various call out and resolution targets.

Energy centre health checks

Our 'health checks' involve a condition assessment of the plant, equipment and distribution system from which bespoke recommendations will be made, to optimise the energy scheme. This will be delivered by our own in-house management who are highly experienced in delivering O&M contracts nationally. We optimise our client's assets, providing uninterrupted heat and hot water supplies to our clients.

Mobilisation and site set up

We will conduct a thorough mobilisation process which will include a complete review of all documents, safety measures, remote monitoring setup and site inductions. This is a critical part of the process to provide a smooth transition over to our care.

HIU servicing

Our specialist maintenance team will carry out the servicing of your HIUs. Our engineers wear full uniform and display their ID badges to preserve security. Our vehicles are also clearly recognisable to prevent bogus callers. We will adhere to any scheme-specific arrangements, such as password or code access systems, signing in/out systems etc.

We have the capabilities to provide servicing for all major plant and equipment within your energy centre, as well as servicing the HIUs within individual properties.

Reporting

All O&M activity is detailed in a monthly report which is presented back to the client. This details works undertaken and allows us to plan objectives going forward.

Data collection & analysis

We have a range of products which can monitor your energy scheme and intelligently use this data to enter a cycle of continuous improvement.

Metering & Billing

Our comprehensive metering and billing service ranges from installation through to billing and customer care. We ensure accuracy, security and transparency.

The St Andrews scheme works well in conjunction with other sources of heating and our engineers co-ordinate well with Vital Energi’s engineers. They provide good points of contact, deliver good communication and we’ve had a very good service from them.
