We have marked our 25th anniversary with a week of celebrations across our offices and project sites, bringing colleagues together to reflect on our remarkable journey while looking ahead to the future of low-carbon energy.
Since 2001, we have grown from a small business into one of the UK's leading providers of low-carbon energy infrastructure, delivering renewable energy solutions that are helping organisations and communities decarbonise and reduce energy costs.
Our celebration week was an opportunity to recognise the people, partnerships and projects that have shaped the business over the last quarter of a century. Colleagues enjoyed a variety of treats and activities, including coffee mornings, celebratory cakes, and team challenges, while commemorative gifts were given in recognition of the collective contribution made by employees past and present.
One of the highlights of the week was welcoming employees' children into the office for a Climate Education session. As well as learning about climate change and the work we do, they took a tour of the office, and painted bird boxes to encourage wildlife into their gardens at home, before enjoying ice creams. As the UK continues its transition towards net zero, inspiring the next generation is more important than ever. By giving young people a first-hand insight into the energy sector, we hope to encourage future engineers, project managers, technicians and sustainability professionals who will help tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
Speaking of milestones, our leadership team reflected on the company's continued success and the foundations that have enabled its growth over the last 25 years.
While the business has evolved significantly, its focus remains unchanged: delivering innovative energy solutions, investing in its people and supporting customers on their decarbonisation journeys.
The anniversary celebrations also served as a reminder that our success has always been built on collaboration. From employees and supply chain partners to customers, communities and industry stakeholders, the relationships developed over the past 25 years have helped drive progress and deliver lasting impact across the UK.
Here's to the next 25 years.
