Colleagues across Vital came together to support this year's Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising more than £1,150 for Macmillan Cancer Support through a company-wide bake sale.
While our day-to-day focus is delivering low carbon energy solutions and supporting our customers on their journey to net zero, events like this reflect our wider commitment to creating a positive impact for people and communities.
The coffee morning gave staff the opportunity to step away from their desks, connect with colleagues and reflect on the incredible work carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support. The charity provides vital practical, emotional and financial support to people living with cancer and their families when they need it most.
Supporting charitable initiatives is an important part of our wider ESG commitments and social value programme. Alongside the volunteer work, fundraising activities and community projects our teams take part in throughout the year, the Macmillan Coffee Morning is another example of how we aim to make a positive difference beyond the energy projects we deliver.
