Leeds PIPES Bridge Covering Gets Local Artist Makeover

We collaborated with Leeds City Council and Local Artist, Nathan Evans to give the Glencoe Bridge pipe crossing in Leeds an artistic makeover.

The artwork for the Glencoe bridge crossing is now complete.  The encasement houses the 50m of district heating which crosses the bridge and would otherwise have been visible.

The pipework is part of the 19km Leeds PIPES heat network which takes waste heat from the Leeds Recycling and Energy Recovery Facility and distributes it throughout the city to serve 1,983 homes and civic buildings.
