Supporting West Dunbartonshire Council at COP26

West Dunbartonshire Council, Vital Energi and Star Renewables will be exhibiting in the Green Zone at COP26 on 11th November and it’s a great opportunity for you to stop by and talk to the team behind the UK’s first large-scale water source heat pump.

The award-winning Queens Quay heat network is delivering low-carbon heating and hot water to the 23-hectare site which will grow to include over 1,200 homes, council-owned buildings and businesses.

The energy centre houses two 2.65MW water source heat pumps which take latent heat from the River Clyde and distribute it via a network of underground district heating pipework to customers on the development.

We’re looking forward to meeting you all and answering your questions about how we harnessed renewable energy to help West Dunbartonshire Council on their decarbonisation journey.
