London Road, Isleworth is an old commercial building site that is currently being transformed into a residential complex consisting of 155 apartments spread over nine blocks.
Vital Energi’s engineers have been commissioned to create a District Heating Network to meet the hot water and heating requirements to each block via Heat Interface Units in each apartment. The purpose-built Energy Centre comprises a Combined Heat & Power engine with supplementary boilers and ancillary plant, all monitored by an integrated Building Management System. The site will provide much-needed housing for both private and social housing tenants, and Vital Energi are delighted to be delivering such a low-cost, low-emission solution.
